United Tax Service was founded in 2001. Our founder, Fred Kobler, has over 45 years of experience preparing taxes and accounting. Fred started preparing taxes in his kitchen in 1980, and joined Rochester Accounting and Tax Service in Rochester, MI, shortly thereafter. Fred also spent many years in government service, of which the last seven years were spent in finance, budgeting, and information systems at the United States Postal Service.
United Tax Service is a family business built on the idea that everyone deserves top-notch customer service. Each of our preparers has at least 3 years’ experience, however, most have over 30. We are a team of experienced professionals with a diverse skill set.
